  Also why on earth does he keep going out of his way to say things?

  It comes down to money and his need to feel vindicated. He knows better than anyone here what's at stake and losing over 300 Patrons in 3 months is a big deal no matter how you spin it. The trend is still downward and he needs to spin a narrative that he has been defamed and those people are being prosecuted. He has a standard of life that he's not giving up without a fight and he alluded to it in his comment on Kim's video where claimed she was wrong about him filming in one weekend but rather it was 7-10 days a month. Working 7-10 days out of the month, from home, at your own leisure isn't a bad gig, especially when he's paid 10 times what the average monthly wage is in Croatia.

  This is a business for him and he's doing everything he can to maintain it. He loathes exJW activism and the people he claims to be trying to help and wishes he could get enough money to buy an island somewhere like he stated on Andrew Gold's show.

  This is why this "pay for play" activism has huge downfalls to it, as the activist becomes a businessman and decisions are made about to enrich themselves rather than really help people.

  Lloyd is going to file the complaint and claim it's with the law and now his hands are tied. He can just keep claiming it's being worked on. Then in a few months make some fake disappointed video saying how the authorities decided not to pursue the case because violent crime is up there so they just don't have time...

  Where's our dearly departed Band On The Run? You'd think an Ivy League law degree would be more than enough to opine on the Croatian criminal code.

  Here's what's going to happen. Some day in the not too distant future a Croatian judicial authority is going to be duty bound to review whatever it was that Lloyd filed. It will go as expected, meaning that there's no means or desire to uphold foreign nationals to Croatian law and begin the extradition process and will be summarily dismissed. A series of tweets or more likely a video will be cobbled together by Lloyd, complete with these nuggets of wisdom:

  • Due to the complexities of the law and the fact none of the defendants are under Croatian law, Lloyd will inform us that unfortunately the bullies got away with defaming him.
  • Cue the empty bravado that these people are cowards who are hiding behind these legal nuances.
  • Propose legislation (EU/UK/US/Canada/UN, et al) that makes it easier for online bullying to be reigned in by creating multi-national judicial authorities and/or agreements that would have made it possible for his litigation to succeed.
  • Appoint himself as an anti-bullying advocate and in true-to-form O.J. Simpson style, pledge to not rest until somehow and someway these perpetrators can be brought to justice.
  • Finally, in WT "Questions From Readers" style, Lloyd will read an email or tweet from a supporter who urges him to fight the real fight against WT. Cue the ponderous tone and how he really doesn't want these people to get away with this, he actually DOES take his supporter's advice and has decided that this would be the most logical path.
  • "Come Back to Lloyd" - He offers a kind of amnesty for the people who have offended him and reassures them he holds no grudges and he would welcome them back as supporters.

  LMSA, I don't know much about this part of the Lloyd Evans story. What happened while begging for free Spanish translators?

  I commented on this before. To sum it up, as his FB post suggested, he wanted volunteer translators who would share with him details on their background and professional skills (again, asking for private information). He implied it was an issue of trust, namely he was paranoid the translators would share digital copies of the book should he have distributed it to them. So he only gave out one chapter each to different translators, which is a horrible idea as anyone ever involved in translation can attest to. A few asked for more chapters out of contextual reasons and also to see for themselves what kind of book this was. He was firm in his denial, all but accusing them of wanting to distribute it illegally. One translator volunteered the information that he had a PDF of the book already.

  Lloyd booted him off the project and doxxed him (remember the request for "background" information in the FB post above?) by revealing his location (Hermosillo, Mexico). As of today no non-English copies of TRA have been printed despite the many hours of hard work unpaid volunteers put in. Lloyd was too paranoid about copies being distributed despite his flippant attitude when it came to him and his friend printing off COC bootlegs.

  Except that wasn't really an apology. From the looks of it, he banned a JW apologist from his website for making all these cringe "come back to Jehovah God!" comments. Then he realised that it was better to keep him round for amusement purposes. He had an easy target to ridicule so naturally he wanted him back to show off for the crowd his debating skills.

  There's some manipulation going on with the Patron numbers. First it was 552, then it bumped to 554, then down to 553. Now it's 556. As much as we dislike the man here, there are Cedarite groups all over Facebook, Discord and WhatsApp group texts. I know because I've infiltrated a few. Here's how it goes: Oh look at this one-star Goodreads review! We need to report it and upvote the 5 star ones! Might be the same with Patreon. Instead of the amount a husband/wife team pledges, they start another pledge at the lowest tier to prop him up. He manipulates those folks there, constantly threatening to quit activism altogether. Where he is at right now isn't a bad haul but at the same time it's not superstar level as he was headed to earlier this year.

  Ever hear of Athletic Alchemy? Probably not. He produces content on the NBA and started a little after Lloyd. Now check his Patrons:

  

  Lloyd isn't getting anywhere near 1000 and that's why he's so upset all the time because he was so close. His content is already suffering as he is taking time off to focus on litigation and it's plain for everyone to see his heart is just not in this anymore. No one is working with him so he's well on the road to irrelevance. I reckon it'll be a slow bleed from here on out.

  i want to create a new site to help people leaving the wts.. the idea is that it will be curated content of articles and videos on specific subjects such as how to fade, how to handle family, personal experiences of leaving, mistakes to avoid, plus practical life matters impacted by the wts such as how to create or rebuild a career, planning for retirement, getting counselling, making friends etc.... the idea is that it should be lots of voices to share the love and promote lots of people's channels so it becomes a more effective resource (hopefully there will always be something informative and appealing to the people visiting).. if you have a youtube channel that you would like featured, or maybe have some specific video or series that would suit, i'd be happy to include them.. likewise, if you have a subject you'd like to write about and can share some practical knowledge and guidance on, or have a life-story you'd like to share because your experience could benefit others, please let me know.. i bought a domain and setup some placeholder content:.

  Kind of like an updated version of jwfacts and I can assure you the owners are no fans of Lloyd.

  For YouTube, the exJW Critical Thinkers (Lady C and JT) have a good mix of doctrinal videos and interviews with former JWs. JT is a former Bethelite elder and has a good grasp on how the WT works.

  How long ago did this happen?

  This stunt was round the time he was promoting his book. When his dad did not answer the door, he left a copy of his book at the doorstep. This is not the last time he pulled something like this. On the Leah Remini programme his sob story was bringing his family to do landscaping at his dad's place and watching as his dad drove by. He made a point of relating how he wasn't getting paid for unsolicited yard work, as if it's common practice to for adult children to insist on compensation when helping their elderly parents with household chores.
